Each minute, approximately 120 people die somewhere in the world.
Each hour, that number rises to 7,200.
By the end of the day, we’ve lost around 172,800 souls globally.
These are not just statistics — they are stories, families, unfinished dreams, and silent goodbyes. And yet, here you are.
Reading this. Breathing. Alive.
🕰️ The Unseen Gift of Time
It’s easy to rush through life — chasing goals, swiping screens, racing clocks. But when you pause to consider the sheer weight of those numbers, something shifts. The fact that you were not among the 120 who passed in the last minute… or the 7,200 in the past hour… is quietly profound.
It means something.
You’ve been given more time — and time, as it turns out, is the rarest gift of all.
“This is the day that the Lord has made; let us rejoice and be glad in it.” — Psalm 118:24
🙏 Gratitude in the Shadow of Death
Gratitude doesn’t have to be loud. It doesn’t need fireworks or perfect social posts. Sometimes it looks like:
A deep breath before the next task.
A whispered “thank You” when you wake up.
A moment of stillness in the middle of a noisy world.
Because when you realize how fragile and fleeting life is, every small moment becomes sacred.
“In Him we live and move and have our being.” — Acts 17:28
🌍 A Call to Awareness
We live in a world obsessed with more: more success, more speed, more stuff. But maybe the real power lies in noticing what we already have:
This moment.
This body.
This breath.
To live with awareness is to push back against numbness. It’s to say: “I see what could have been lost — and I don’t take this for granted.”
“Teach us to number our days, that we may gain a heart of wisdom.” — Psalm 90:12
💫 What Will You Do With This Minute?
You’re not one of today’s 172,800. You’re still here. That’s no small thing.
So the question becomes: what will you do with the next 60 seconds?
Will you check in on someone you love?
Will you forgive someone?
Will you step outside and feel the sun?
Will you simply pause and say, “Thank You”?
Whatever you choose — may you live it with intention, because life isn’t promised. But right now, it is present.
“For what is your life? It is even a vapor that appears for a little time and then vanishes away.” — James 4:14

Thank you for this beautiful reminder to be grateful for what is. Too often I mourn what has been lost instead of dwelling on all that we still have. God bless you 💕
