There are moments in life when we sense that something bigger than ourselves is at work. A dream begins to stir. A calling becomes clear. A shift starts happening inside us—and yet, we don’t know how it will unfold. That’s not a failure. That might be the sign that God is doing something through you.
To help us understand this, consider something beautiful and familiar: pregnancy.
A woman doesn’t create a baby with her intellect or willpower. She doesn't design the organs, or command the heart to beat. Life begins and grows inside her, yet the actual process is beyond her control. It’s not her doing, and yet—it’s happening within her.
That’s how God often works.
When He begins something in us, it’s not a demand for us to “figure it all out.” It’s not a pressure to perform or produce. It’s an invitation to carry what He’s planted. We might feel the weight of it, the symptoms of growth, and the responsibility to care for it—but the miracle itself is His.
Our role is to make space. To be available. To tend to our physical, emotional, and spiritual health so that what God is doing has the environment it needs to thrive.
This isn’t about striving. It’s about cooperating.
It’s the sacred partnership between the divine and the human—where God moves, and we respond. Where He creates, and we carry. Where He leads, and we trust.
So if you’re sensing something stirring in your spirit—something new, uncertain, even a little overwhelming—take heart. You don’t have to know how it will all happen. You’re not expected to make it happen alone.
You’re not the Maker. You’re the vessel.
And what a sacred, beautiful role that is.
