LET THE WEAK SAY, “I AM STRONG” ⚔️ — Prayer for Strength
There are seasons when strength does not feel natural. You may be tired. The battle may have lasted longer than expected. Responsibilities may keep coming while your own strength feels increasingly limited. But Scripture does not ask us to pretend that weakness is not real. It teaches us where to bring it. “Let the weak say, ‘I am strong.’” — Joel 3:10
This prayer is not about convincing yourself that you are powerful enough on your own. It is about returning to the One who is your strength. His grace is sufficient. His power is made perfect in weakness. He renews those who wait upon Him. And Christ strengthens you.
There is a profound difference between striving to manufacture strength and receiving strength from God. So bring Him the exhaustion. Bring Him the pressure. Bring Him the places where courage has become thin. Bring Him the battle you are tired of fighting.
And then stand upon His Word.
⚔️ I am strong in the Lord and in the power of His might.
⚔️ When I am tired, He renews my strength.
⚔️ When I do not know the way, He leads me.
⚔️ When pressure comes, He is my refuge.
⚔️ When I reach the end of myself, I have not reached the end of God.
Weakness will not have the final word. Weariness will not determine my future. Fear will not decide my obedience. The Lord is my strength. Let the weak say, “I am strong.” In the mighty and victorious name of Jesus Christ. Amen. 🤍
