There are seasons when we still believe, still pray, still follow God—and yet somewhere along the way, the joy becomes quieter. This prayer is a return to what was always meant to be the foundation: “Restore to me the joy of Your salvation.” — Psalm 51:12
Before the answered prayers. Before the breakthrough. Before everything I am building, becoming or believing for—I am saved. I belong to Jesus. And that is not a small thing. That is everything. The joy of the Lord is my strength. Not because every circumstance is easy, but because my deepest reason for joy cannot be taken from me.
May I never become so familiar with salvation that I lose the wonder of it. May I never love the gifts more than the Giver. May my heart remain pure, grateful and hungry for God.
Father, restore the joy. Restore the wonder. Bring me back again and again to the miracle of knowing You. Let the joy of Your salvation become strength within me for everything You have called me to carry. 🤍
