THE WILDERNESS — Before the Promise, There Is a Journey.
An Invitation to Remain with God | Meditation on the Word of God
The wilderness is not always a sign that something has gone wrong.
Sometimes, it is the place where God teaches His people how to walk with Him after bringing them out of what once held them captive.
In this Scripture meditation, we revisit Israel's deliverance from Egypt and the beginning of their wilderness journey. We contemplate the faithfulness of God, the challenges of trusting Him in unfamiliar places, and the transformation that happens between deliverance and inheritance.
This is the first meditation in From the Wilderness to the Bride, a ten-part Scripture journey exploring the lessons of Israel's wilderness experience and their significance for our walk with Jesus Christ.
Each meditation is an invitation to become still, receive the Word, renew the mind, and respond to God from a place of deeper understanding.
Set aside some uninterrupted time. Let the natural sounds and quiet landscape accompany you as you listen, contemplate, and pray.
This is only the beginning of the journey.
Subscribe and follow all ten meditations as they are released.
May this journey lead beyond merely knowing the stories of Scripture into understanding what God is teaching through them.
